About me

Who I Am

Hi, I’m Emma Völker — a trilingual French-German-English translator and editor passionate about words, nuance, and clarity.

I specialize in bringing ideas to life across languages, making sure nothing gets lost between the lines.

After completing my degree in German Language, Literature and Culture at the University of Strasbourg, I entered the publishing world where I found my voice — and purpose — in language services. Since then, I’ve collaborated with publishing houses such as Larousse, Bookmark, and Addictives, translating and editing works ranging from fantasy novels to non-fiction essays.

Publier chez Editions Addictives, comment ça marche ?

My background includes:

-Literary translation (romance, fantasy)

-Orthotypographic revision and layout preparation

-Editorial consulting and rewriting

-Trilingual communication (FR / DE / EN)

Whether I’m working on a bestselling novel or a technical manuscript, I bring the same energy: precision, style, and a strong sense of structure. My approach combines linguistic instinct, cultural sensitivity, and a serious love of details.
